A series of magically enhanced rooms that challenge the students of Daybreak to infiltrate the room's defenses and escape with an object held within using whatever powers or tools at their disposal. Each room should be designed by the faculty and consist of a number of trials with no predefined means of solving the puzzle. Competition should be encouraged; but challenges should be restricted to non-lethal dangers, and violence between competitors should be prohibited.
The faculty should be encouraged to provide a suitably motivational target for the students to retrieve, such a single-use magical items or other temporary benefits. The faculty should also be encouraged to re-design their rooms at their leisure.
This addition to the campus will provide a way for students to both develop their magical abilities and exercise their critical thinking skills, while doing so in a controlled environment that is safe and designed to facilitate lateral thinking and/or teamwork.
